Joel R. Hintzman Obituary (1958

Joel R. Hintzman, age 58, of Menomonie, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at his home surrounded by family. Joel was born February 18, 1958 in Menomonie, WI to James and Alice (Smith) Hintzman. He grew up on a farm in the Menomonie area and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1976. After graduating high school, Joel served in the U.S. Army for nine years. On July 21, 1989, Joel married Jayme Kampff in Menomonie and together they built a life and raised a family. Joel enjoyed spending time with his family, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, riding his motorcycle, fishing, gardening, nights around the bonfire, and working security at the Chippewa Valley Music festival with dear friends. The best thing about Joel was his willingness to help out those in need. Joel is survived by his loving wife Jayme Hintzman; three daughters, Jessie (Jim) Jacenko, Danielle (Kevin) Ahrens and Randi Hintzman; five grandchildren, Devin, Marek, Sydney, Landen and Harper; his father James (Evelyn) Hintzman; brothers, Jim Hintzman and Dennis (Kim) Hintzman; sisters, Jennifer (Mark) Schneider and Jayne (Sky) Anderson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many, many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Alice Hintzman; his brother Johnny Hintzman; grandparents, aunts and uncles. Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie with Pastor Remy Diederich officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the Menomonie Veterans Honor Guard. There will be a visitation from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home.
