Audrey A. Cropp

Audrey Ann Cropp, age 90 of Menomonie, WI passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 20, 2024, at her home in Menomonie.

She was born August 7, 1933, in Menomonie to George and Mable (Quilling) Wagner. She was raised in the township of Iron Creek and was a graduate of Menomonie High School.

She married Loren Cropp on June 11, 1954, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Menomonie. She worked at the Bank of Menomonie and part time at DHI. She cherished her time as a mother, homemaker, and volunteer.

Her volunteer work included: St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mayo Clinic, and setup and in home testing for Lifeline. She was a member of the Myrtle Werth Auxiliary Group and a member of the Iron Creek breakfast group. She worked over 30 years at the election polls in Menomonie.

Audrey is survived by her two sons and one daughter, Eugene (Gretchen) Cropp of Verona, WI, Jeffrey (Denise) Cropp of Plymouth, MN, and Sheryl (Thomas) Griebel of Chippewa Falls, WI; seven grandchildren, Jaclyn (Camden) Halverson, Rachel (Sean) Holinka, Nathan (Melissa) Griebel, Kayla Griebel, Avery (Rahul Nori) Cropp, Mariah (Karl Kabarowski) Cropp and Rianna Cropp; four great grandchildren, Quinn and Otto Griebel, Liam and Noah Halverson. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Roy Cropp.

She is preceded in death by her husband Loren Cropp, her parents and brother Donald Wagner.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Geoffrey Kieta officiating. Burial will take place at the church cemetery with a luncheon to follow back at the church. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday July 25, 2024 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie WI, and also at the church, one hour before the service on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Menomonie or Time of Grace Ministry.
