Deloris Indgjer Obituary (1914

DELORIS V. INDGJER Deloris V. Indgjer, age 96, of Eau Claire, WI passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010 at Syverson Lutheran Home in Eau Claire. The former Deloris Vivian VanTassel was born September 4, 1914 in Osseo, Wisconsin to Robert M. and Dora E. (Bailey) VanTassel. She was raised in the Osseo area and graduated from Osseo High School. Deloris married Oscar Indgjer on May 19, 1934. After their marriage, they resided in Eau Claire. Deloris was an active member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. She enjoyed playing cards, going to church dinners and traveling. Deloris also loved spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed. Deloris is survived by: Two sons and one daughter, Ronald (Charlotte) Indgjer of Hastings, MN Gary (Judy) Indgjer of Janesville, WI Sandra Christopherson of Aitkin, MN Ten grandchildren, Pamela (Pat) DeMars, Randall (Karen) Indgjer, Mark (Madonna) Indgjer, Scott (Mary) Indgjer, Patricia (Bob) Flynn, Ken (Lisa) Indgjer, Jason Indgjer, Mike (Kristy) Balliett, Scott Balliett and Valerie (Terry) Rogers Sixteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren A brother-in-law, Romaine Indgjer of Eau Claire Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Oscar, two grandsons Gary and Kevin; brothers and sisters and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, with Pastor Gary Sahs officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery also in Eau Claire. There will be visitation at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
