Doris A. Hoff

Doris A. (Gouge’) Hoff, age 76 of Menomonie, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025 at MCHS-Red Cedar in Menomonie.

Doris was born on March 17, 1948 to Louis and Bonnye (Cook) Gouge’ in Superior, WI. She graduated from Superior High School. On June 3, 1967 Doris married Thomas Hoff in Ladysmith, WI.

Her family was very important to her and she always put them first. She always enjoyed the company of family and friends. Sitting down to talk and having many conversations which often lead to lots of laughter. Doris was an avid reader. She also enjoyed genealogy, fishing and going to the casino.

Doris is survived by her husband Thomas Hoff of 57 years, sons Kenneth Hoff and Jon Hoff and her daughter Susan Hoff.

She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Bonnye, son Jamie Hoff, granddaughter Kenda Hoff, her brothers Paul Gouge’ and Joesph Gouge’, sister Grace McGee; niece Debbie Nelson, great niece Lauren Pruess and her in-laws James and Waneta Hoff.

A Graveside service will be held in the spring at Bruce Cemetery.
