Eldon R. Grambo

Eldon R. Grambo, age 80, of Menomonie, WI died Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems-Menomonie.

He was born May 8, 1932 in Menomonie, WI to Wilfred and Fannie Mae (Price) Grambo and was raised on the family farm in the Town of Red Cedar. He graduated from Menomonie High School.

Eldon worked for Quality Park Farms as well as auto parts stores, Kwik Trip and Wal-Mart until his retirement.

Eldon married Claire (Courtois) Selbrede on June 19, 1976 in Cedar Falls where they made their home. He enjoyed trout fishing, camping and antique engines and was an avid Chevy man. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Step-grandchildren, Rebekah Selbrede, Robert (Melanie) Mix, Steven Mix, Rebecca and Matthew Selbrede
Step-great-granddaughter, Madison St. Germain
A brother Marlin (Shirley) Grambo of Menomonie
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister LuAnn Hulback and an infant brother Wesley.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2012 at St. Katherine's Evangelical Lutheran Church (Beyer Settlement) Twp. Red Cedar, Dunn Co., WI, with Pastor Shawn Kauffeld officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 4:00-8:00 Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
