Erich O. Bahr Obituary (1946 - 2023)

Erich O. Bahr, age 77, of Elmwood, WI passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023, at MCHS-Luther in Eau Claire. He was born May 12, 1946, in St. Paul, MN to parents Erich and Irene (McCarthy) Bahr. He grew up in Knapp, Boyceville, Wheeler, and Menomonie area and graduated from Boyceville High School in 1965. Erich married Mary (Schneider) September 13, 1969 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Boyceville and moved to Inver Grover Heights Minnesota until 1998. They had two sons and truly enjoyed traveling together as a family. Erich is survived by his wife Mary, one son Steven, grandchildren Erich, Rose, Lillian and Olivia as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his beloved dog Pup-pup. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son Robert and four siblings. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2023 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI with Celebrant Teresa Pejsa officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mound Cemetery in the Town of Tiffany, Dunn County, Wisconsin.
