Ervin Beguhn

Ervin H. Beguhn, age 88, of Menomonie, WI passed away Monday, September 19, 2011 at the Dunn County Health Care Center.

He was born May 6, 1923 in Menomonie, WI to Paul and Grienhulin (Mittelstadt) Beguhn. He attended Iron Creek Elementary School and Menomonie High School. Ervin married Joyce Goodremote on Oct. 15, 1952 in New Auburn, WI.

Ervin farmed the family dairy farm near Elk Mound for many years and enjoyed working with his hands especially woodworking. He was a faithful member of the Lutheran Church and was a loving husband and father.

Ervin is survived by his wife of almost 59 years, Joyce
A daughter, Michele Schulz of Greensboro, NC
His brother, Richard (Betty) Beguhn of Colfax
He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Gwen Beguhn, and a sister Marlene Bremmer.

Ervin's family would like to thank everyone at the Dunn County Health Care Center for their loving care.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Pastor Geoff Scott officiating. There will be visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Menomonie, Dunn Co., WI.
