Harold was born to Frank and Minnie (House) Rubusch on July 15, 1918 in the Sherman Township, Dunn Co., WI. He grew up on the home farm and attended Hawthorne School. He and his twin brother Harry enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Force, serving in W.W. II from 1942 to 1945. Harold served his country proudly and enjoyed sharing stories of his experiences.

Harold and Catherine (Katy) Clark were married Dec. 23, 1959, celebrating their 50th anniversary this past December. They dairy farmed together, with their family, in rural Boyceville until 1979. At that time they retired to Texas in winters and spent summers fishing, bowling, dancing and playing cards with friends and family.

Harold is survived by his wife Katy and six children: Sharon (Rod) Sandberg, Judy (LaVerne) Jones, Jim (Leigh) Clark, Diane (Ben) Peterson, Cindy (David) Moshe, Willis (Beth) Rubusch and Peaches; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two nieces as well as other relatives and friends.
