IDA E. DREW

Ida E. Drew, age 90, of Menomonie, WI died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004 at Myrtle Werth Hospital-Mayo Health System in Menomonie.

The former Ida Emelia Hohlbein was born Feb. 28, 1913 in the Town of Red Cedar, Dunn County, WI to Henry and Sarah (Maves) Hohlbein. She married George W. Drew on July 28,1930 in Stillwater, MN. He preceded her in death on June 30, 1988.

Ida was a life long Menomonie area resident. She worked at Sanna Dairies for many years retiring in 1966. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Menomonie. She enjoyed canning, baking, embroidering and making quilts and she also enjoyed fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; a son, Reginald; a grandson, Larry Bol; a great-grandson, Jason Petricek; a brother, William Hohlbein; and 3 sisters, Laura Scharlau, Nellie Kirkland, and Safronia "Peg" Bolle.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 18, 2004 at The United Methodist Church in Menomonie with the Rev. Marilyn Rushton officiating. Burial in Iron Creek Cemetery in the Town of Spring Brook, Dunn County, Wisconsin. Family and friends may gather from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church on Friday. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is handling arrangements.
