IRENE A. BRUNN

Irene A. Brunn, age 86, of Menomonie, WI passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009 at her home with hospice.

The former Irene Alice Singerhouse was born Oct. 23, 1922 in the Town of Menomonie, Dunn Co., WI to Hugo and Alice (Holstein) Singerhouse. She married Wallace Brunn Feb. 14, 1942 in Menomonie.

Irene was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Menomonie. She enjoyed her flower garden and sewing and was given the Woman of the Year award by Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Irene was a wonderful and caring woman who would always put others before herself. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Randy and a sister Helen Cunniff.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Monday, Aug. 3, 2009 at Peace Lutheran Church in Menomonie, with Pastor David Whelan officiating. Family and friends are welcome from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Interfaith Volunteers of Dunn County (Food Pantry).
