Jeffrey J. Schultz, age 59, of Menomonie, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023. \n \n He was born November 19, 1963 to Robert & Eileen (Mitchell) Schultz in Menomonie and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1982. The following year Jeff married Lisa Knops and together had two children. \n \n Jeff immensely enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a lover of sports and played basketball several years on the high school team. He spent a lifetime backing the Minnesota Vikings just to be competitive with his father. He looked forward to deer hunting with family and friends every year. Jeff pursued a career in auto mechanics starting off at a job with John (Beaver) Ranke. He subsequently worked for Menomonie Farmers Union Co-op and managed the auto shop at the Farmers Union Co-op in Ridgeland for several years. His love of cars continued at home, building his own shop and tinkering on his treasured ’68 Barracuda. \n \n Jeff is survived by his children Lindsey (Darin) Ides and Ben (Felicia) Schultz; three grandchildren, Robert & Michelle Schultz and Olivia Ides. He is further survived by his brother Richard Schultz, step-brothers Gary, Tom and Dan Cook; step-sister Rosemarie Bristol; nephews Matthew, Richard and Andrew Dye; brother-in-law Ray Dye and girlfriend, Robin Vergin. \n \n He was preceded in death by his parents Robert & Lois Schultz and Eileen Schultz; sister Roxane Dye and half brother Larry Wood; step-brothers Dana & Jeff Cook; and his beloved golden retriever Cuda. \n \n A private family service will be held at the St. Paul Church Cemetery on Tuesday, Sept. 26 2023 with a Celebration of Life to follow.
