Jerome Arnold Quilling, age 70, of Menomonie, WI died Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Mayo Clinic Health System-Menomonie. \n \n On Dec. 30, 1941 Jerome was born in Menomonie, WI the son of Marvin and Erma (Sundby) Quilling. He was the oldest of three children, having a sister Carol and a brother Wayne. \n \n Jerome attended Palmer Grade School and was confirmed at the Menomonie Methodist Church. He lived on the family farm for many years where he enjoyed working with the farm animals. He also worked at Xcel Energy. \n \n Jerome is survived by his siblings, Carol Bakke and Wayne Quilling both of Menomonie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Jill (Chris), Scott (Kayte), Amy and Michael (Kari) as well as other family and friends. \n \n He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and a brother-in-law, John Bakke. \n \n Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Menomonie with Pastor Carol Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Menomonie. There will be visitation at the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Olson Funeral Home of Menomonie is serving the family.
