Jerry Allen Hintzman, age 65, of Menomonie, WI passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Clark County Nursing Home in Owen, WI. \n \n He was born Oct. 23, 1951 in Menomonie, WI to Leonard Jr. and Barbara (Schroeder) Hintzman. He was raised in the Menomonie area and graduated from Menomonie High School. \n \n Jerry was drafted in the U.S. Army and served overseas from 1969 to 1971. Following his military service, Jerry has lived most of his life in Menomonie. \n \n He enjoyed fishing and trips to the casino. He was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan and was able to attend a couple games. \n \n Jerry is survived by his mother Barbara Erdman and step-father Donald Erdman of Menomonie; a sister Kathy Sherry of Menomonie; brothers, Samuel (Jean) Hintzman of Menomonie and Jeff (Estelle) Hintzman of Willow, AK; and further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. \n \n He was preceded in death by his father Leonard Hintzman Jr.; brothers, Donald Hintzman and Daniel Hintzman; and a great-niece Gabrielle Gates. \n \n Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Pastor Kristine Stedje officiating. There will be visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Menomonie, Dunn Co. WI with military honors by Menomonie Veterans Honor Guard.
