John B. Price age 69, of Menomonie, WI passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at his home. \n \n He was born May 4, 1950 in Neillsville, WI to William and Caroline (Olson) Price. John was a hardworking man who was always willing to help others. He loved drinking coffee, deer hunting and visiting with old friends. Some of the happiest moments for John were when he spent time with his family, especially his Grandchildren, whom all held a special place in his heart. He loved to give advice and teach the kids useful tips on cars, guns and life in general. \n \n John lived his life as a simple man who believed in working hard, doing the right thing and taking care of the people you care about. His second marriage to Connie gave him some of the happiest times of his life and a larger family to love and create memories with. John could always be counted on to be there and provide help of any kind whether you wanted it or not. He always put everyone else’s needs ahead of his own. \n \n John is survived by 6 children: Nicole Price; Joshua Price; Natasha (Ryan) Weymouth; Kristi (Anthony) Brock; James Stobb (Nina Brobst); and Sharilyn Kading. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 6 siblings, his dog Buddyman and a very large extended family who will all miss him dearly. \n \n He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie; his parents, Bill and Caroline; brothers, Vic and Ed and sister, Sarah. \n \n In lieu of flowers we are asking instead that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in John’s honor. \n \n Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Rest Haven Cemetery, Town of Washington, Eau Claire County, WI. \n \n Family and friends are invited to visit and share memories at the farm at N8822 County Rd. M. Colfax, WI after the service.
