Jordyn C. Irwin

Jordyn Christine Irwin, age 12, passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2026.

Born on July 30, 2014, Jordyn was an old soul who had wisdom beyond her years. She had an appreciation for architecture, nature, history, and saw beauty in the little things in life. She was the oldest 12-year-old you ever met.

Her smile lit up the room. She had a gift for art and loved all shades of blue. Her creativity, compassion, and urge to bedazzle things made this world a brighter place. Jordyn loved getting lost in a good book and playing soccer and volleyball. Making memories with her family, siblings, and friends filled her cup.

Her quiet light and zesty demeanor filled the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be missed beyond all measure.

Jordyn is survived by her dad, Dustin Irwin; mom, Alex Vorwald (Andrew Dickenson); siblings, Treyson Falkner, Illyah Irwin, bonus siblings, Rylan Dickenson, and Addie Dickenson; grandparents, Lori Vorwald and Gary Gilbertson, Tim and Lori Vorwald (Lauren, Matthew, Andrew), Valerie Irwin (Tim Hedberg), Paul Irwin, and Doug and Jane Dickenson.

She is further survived by her aunts and uncles, Rick and Kara Mia Appleton, Kaleb Irwin, Jeremy Irwin, Nate and Jackie Carlstrom, Sara and Kevin Morgan, Rachael and Marty Christianson, Cory Vorwald, and Desmond and Linsey Scott; cousins, Grace, Joy, Emma, Henry, Lyra, Leo, Nash, Evan, Paige, Vinny, and Lucy; godfather, Luke Peterson; as well as many other family members, friends and teachers.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Cedar Brook Church, with Celebrant Teresa Pejsa officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Menomonie, WI.

In honor of Jordyn and her love for all shades of blue, family and friends are invited to wear blue to the visitation and service.
