Justin P. May, age 30, of Eau Claire, WI formerly of Menomonie left this world too soon on Saturday, June 10, 2017. \n \n He was born July 22, 1986 in Menomonie, WI to Kevin and Shantel (Steinmeyer) May. \n \n Justin was an exceptional man, son, grandson, partner, father and friend. He loved life, and when he set his mind to something he did it, and to the best of his ability. He had a huge heart and would do anything for anybody. Whether it was family or business, he made you feel special. \n \n Justin worked as a personal trainer at 3D Fitness, where he was more than a personal trainer, he was a life coach. He also served his country in the Army National Guard, where he did a tour in Iraq and was honorably discharged. \n \n Justin is survived by his mother, Shantel (Tony) Rogers, father, Kevin May, his fiancé Mandi Flick; a son, Lincoln Paul May, step-daughter, Lily McGinnis; grandparents, Ilene Steinmeyer, Jack and Rose Smith, Loren and Connie Rogers; siblings, Chase, Keegan, Colton May, Connor Rogers, Chloe Rogers. He is also survived by other relatives and friends. \n \n He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul Steinmeyer and brother, Tyler May. \n \n Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at New Hope Lutheran Church in Downsville, WI with Pastor Dale Moe officiating. There will be visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in the Town of Menomonie, Dunn Co. WI with military honors by Menomonie Veterans Honor Guard.
