Kenneth G. Brown, age 87, of Menomonie, WI passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, WI. \n \n Ken was born May 21, 1935 in Peawaukee, WI to George and Anita Brown. He grew up in southern Wisconsin and on March 24, 1954 married Patricia “Pat” McCullough in Elkhorn, WI. Ken and Pat had two boys, Rod and Curtis. \n \n After graduating from Seattle Bible College, Ken became a pastor serving churches in Wisconsin, Minnesota and New York. Ken loved Jesus with all his heart, and he positively impacted the lives of many people as a pastor, with a caring attitude and sense of humor that made him many friends over the years. \n \n Ken loved to fix things and was incredibly handy. After retiring from the ministry in 1986, he and Pat moved to Minneapolis-St. Paul where they worked with several property management companies, helping to manage and care for large apartment complexes for the next 15 years. \n \n Ken and his wife, Pat, loved to spend time together, loved their family and grandkids, and were married for nearly 69 years. They were a team in every sense of the word. They loved to go on long car rides together, frequently stopping off to do some fishing together—a hobby they both enjoyed. \n \n Ken is survived by his wife Pat, of Menomonie; two sons Rodney (Elizabeth) Brown of Maple Grove, MN., and Curtis (Lori) Brown of Eden Prairie, MN. He is survived by several grandchildren (Candice, Travis, Madeline and Mason), great-grandchildren (Taydin, Paisley, Weston and Spencer) as well as sisters and one brother. \n \n He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Barb and his brother Howard. \n \n A Time of Sharing will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI. Family and friends are welcome to the funeral home one hour prior for the visitation.
