Kevin Leo Flettre, age 53, of Boyceville, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at Mayo Clinic Health System-Eau Claire surrounded by his family. \n \n Kevin was born on November 23, 1959 to Darold and Agnes (Colburn) Krusemark near Omaha, NE on the Air force base. He later moved to Turtle Lake, WI with his mother and step-dad Irvin Flettre. He was a graduate of Turtle Lake High School. \n \n On April 22, 1989 he married Carleen Swenson in Atwater, MN. They lived in and around the Twin Cities area later moving to rural Boyceville in 2004. \n \n Kevin had a true passion for the outdoors and spent his time fishing, hunting and riding 4-wheeler. He also loved to cook and play board games as well as playing dice games. His pastimes were most enjoyed surrounded by his family and friends who he cherished and loved very dearly. \n \n He also enjoyed antagonizing the cats with his laser pointer and laughing at their inability to catch it. His gift of laughter, great sense of humor and ability of storytelling will be remembered by all. \n \n Kevin is survived by his wife, Carleen \n 2 sons, Alex and Christopher \n Sisters and Brothers, Paula Flettre, Kim Flettre, Randy (Allen) Flettre, Debra Lee (Geno) Kriesel, Jeff (Missy) Flettre, Marvin (Deb) Flettre, Vicki (Troy) Petroske \n Step-brothers, Nelson Flettre, Chris Flettre, Bob Flettre \n As well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives \n \n He was preceded in death by his father Irvin, grandparents, an infant brother Paul, and a step-brother Tim Flettre. \n \n A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville with Pastor Brad Peterson officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
