Lawrence G. Voll Obituary (1949

Lawrence Gene Voll, age 69, of Menomonie, WI was called home to the Lord on Saturday, May 11, 2019. Larry was born September 28, 1949 in Vallejo, CA to Douglas and Dorothy Voll. He grew up in San Francisco and moved to Minnesota in 1975 where he met his true love, Rhonda Robinson. Larry and Rhonda relocated to Menomonie, Wi in 1992. After Rhonda’s passing, he remained a bachelor but had plenty of friends. He loved his dogs and enjoyed going fishing, collecting model trains, and jamming on his guitars with friends and neighbors. He was a man of many traits who liked t keep busy doing home improvements and installing rain gutters. Anyone who knew Larry will never forget him. He was truly one of a kind. Larry is survived by many close friends who were more like family and his two dogs Xena and Charlie. He was preceded in death by his soul mate Rhonda, his mother Dorothy, and three other beloved dogs, Angel, Frisco and Scooter. A brief graveside service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Cedar Falls Cemetery in the Town of Red Cedar, Dunn Co. WI. A Celebration of Larry’s life will be held at his home at 3:00 p.m. after we lay him to rest.
