Louis “Jack” John Murray, age 66 of Downsville, WI passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015 in Menomonie. \n \n Louis was born to Hugh and Louise (Wolf) Murray on May 2, 1949 and raised in Downsville, WI, where he lived his whole life. He worked at Sanna Dairy / Hunt Wesson as a machine operator. He was a wonderful grandfather to his grandkids. His best and most treasured role in life was being a wonderful dad. He loved to hunt and fish. He never turned down a home cooked meal. He was easy going and had a heart of gold. He would give you the shirt off of his back. He loved life and lived it to its fullest. \n \n Jack is survived by his children Amber (Chad) Priestley and Austin Murray; grandkids Raina Priestley, Rylan Priestley, Rensley Priestley, Landon Murray, Madisyn Priestley; siblings Elizabeth (Paul) Wilting and Patricia Webb; brother-in-law Carl Antanitis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. \n \n He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Dianna; siblings Maryann Antanitis, William Murray, Jimmy Joe Murray; brother-in-law Howard Webb. \n \n Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 10, 2015 at New Hope Lutheran Church in Downsville with Pastor Dale Moe officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Menomonie, WI at a later date.
