Lucille “Lucy” H. Miller, age 90, originally from Milwaukee, WI now residing in Menomonie, WI near her daughter, passed away on Dec. 25th, 2019 due to kidney failure. \n \n Lucille was born May 28th, 1929 to Fred E. Sr. and Alma (Deichmann) Callies. She graduated from South Division High School in 1947. Lucille worked at Swendson Ford for a number of years. Afterwards she prepared taxes for low income residents. \n \n Lucille married James D. Miller on Sept. 24th,1949. Lucy and Jim loved playing Bridge, traveling and were active members of Zion United Church of Christ in Milwaukee, WI. \n \n Lucille is survived by her son James A. (Maliwarn) Miller, granddaughter Autumn C. Miller, daughter Christine A. Miller and Jay Smith, along with many nieces and nephews. \n \n She was preceded in death by her husband James in 2009. Lucy lost her parents, Fred and Alma, when she was quite young. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Clarence, George, Fred, Russell and Melvin along with sisters, Dorothy and Adeline. \n \n In lieu of funeral services, Lucille and Chris ask that any donations be sent to hospice who served her well in her final weeks. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is serving the family.
