Marguerite Rose Stinson

Marguerite “Peg” Stinson, born on June 11, 1938, in Duluth, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on October 26th, 2024. Peg, celebrated for her infectious sense of humor, lovingly cared for her special needs daughter, Sherri, with unwavering devotion. She embraced life with an accepting heart, always finding joy in the small moments and inspiring those around her to do the same.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eleanor Proulx and Ed Jeanette, her sister Patricia Bork, brother Eddie Jeanette, and her beloved daughter Sherri Stinson. Though divorced from her former husband, Denby Joe Stinson, their bond remained strong until his passing in 2017.

Peg was the proud mother of four daughters: Sherri Stinson (passed), Tammy (Brian) Rasmussen, Robyn (Duke) Johnson, and Kimberly (Wayne) Dau. Her family was her greatest joy, and she was a loving grandmother to Nicole (Juan) Martinez and Brandon (Josh) Braun, as well as a doting great-grandmother to Mateo and Lenny Martinez.

Peg’s unwavering spirit, kindness, and dedication to those she loved will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She touched many lives with her warmth and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In accordance with Pegs wishes, no funeral services will be held.
