Payton M. Bleskacek Obituary (2008 - 2023)

Payton Matthew Bleskacek, age 14, of Elmwood, WI peacefully passed away Friday, June 2nd with family by his side. He was born December 29, 2008, in Menomonie, WI to Josh Bleskacek and Jessi (Langer) Loga. He attended Elmwood Schools and recently graduated 8th grade. Payton was loved by many. He had a kind heart and always had a smile on his face. He was one of the first ones to offer help if the teachers needed anything. He loved playing sports! Basketball was his jam. He was always asking if he could stay after school so he could play basketball. He recently joined Cedarbrook Youth group and loved it. He was greatly loved by his 4 year old cousin, Brantley. Brantley would follow him around and copy everything he did. Brantley would say something funny and Payton would always get a big grin on his face and say I love that kid! He recently started working at Scatterbrain Cafe as a cook; which he loved. He had a passion for sports, life, friends and family. He was thinking of becoming a Physical Education Teacher as an adult. He was looking forward to getting his permit in 6 months. He loved playing jokes and pranks on his teachers and may have stolen their keys on occasion. Payton is survived by: Jessi Loga (Mother), Josh Bleskacek (Father), Sam Loga (Bonus Father), Lori Gilles (Bonus Mother), Emily Bleskacek (Sister), Brody Bleskacek (Brother), Hannah Bleskacek (Sister), Hannah Loga (Sister), Seth Loga (Brother), Grandparents Bob and Jenny Langer, Grandparents Jean Bleskacek, Paul Bleskacek, Bill Paul, Grandparents Ernest and Jeanne Loga, and many aunt, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. Preceded in death by: Simon Loga (Brother) and Tara Waller (Aunt) Private Funeral Services will be held for immediate family and close friends. There will be a Celebration of Life for Payton and Simon on Wednesday, June 14th from 3-8 p.m at the Elmwood High School Gymnasium. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Simon Loga and Payton Bleskacek’s names at RCU (Royal Credit Union). Donations may be made in person at any RCU branch. Checks may be mailed and made out to RCU with Simon Loga and Payton Bleskacek Memorial Fund in the memo line.
