Phyllis L. Robelia, age 90, of Menomonie, WI passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health System – Red Cedar in Menomonie. \n \n The former Phyllis Louise Rasmusson was born Dec. 30, 1925 in Menomonie, WI to Harry and Ruby (Kinnick) Rasmusson. She was raised in the Menomonie area and graduated from Menomonie High School. \n \n On September 27, 1943, Phyllis married Francis E. Robelia in Colfax. To this union was born two sons and a daughter, Ronald, Duane and Ruth. \n \n Phyllis farmed alongside her husband on their farm in the Town of Spring Brook, Dunn County where they resided their entire life. \n \n She enjoyed gardening, drawing and music and always kept in close contact with her friends. Phyllis’s family was very important to her and she loved the time spent together for holidays and birthdays. \n \n Phyllis is survived by her children, Ronald (Marilyn) Robelia of Menomonie, Duane (Anna) Robelia of Spring, TX and Ruth (Jerome) Zimmerman of Menomonie; also ten grandchildren, two step grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends. \n \n She was preceded in death by her husband Francis, her parents and an infant sister Viola. \n \n Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2016 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Pastor Dale Moe officiating. There will be visitation from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Little Elk Creek Cemetery in the Town of Dunn, Dunn Co. WI. Following the burial there will be luncheon at Little Elk Creek Lutheran Church.
