Raymond "Ray" G. Roemhild

Raymond “Ray” G. Roemhild, age 64, of Menomonie, WI passed away January 4, 2024 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI.

He was born September 28, 1959 in Barron, WI to parents Russel and Louise (Erickson) Roemhild. Ray lived most of his life in the Menomonie/Knapp area where he raised his three daughters Amber, Sarah, and Christina.

He worked at the Knapp Feed Mill during his younger years and then spent 26 years working for Endurance/Polytech.

On Sunday you could find Ray cheering on the Green and Gold as he was an avid Packer fan. When he was younger, he enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing. And later he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Ray was the life of the party and could always put a smile on your face.

Ray is survived by children Amber Hetrick, Sarah Bignell (Josh Allen), Christina Warmbier (Corey Hays); grandchildren Destiny Wold, Girard Jones, Harmony Hetrick, Hannah Fawcett (Brian Fawcett Jr.), Heather Bignell, Landen Bignell, Ava Hays, Mason Warmbier; great grandchild Brian Fawcett III. He is further survived by brother Eugene (Cheryl) Roemhild; sisters Darlene (David) Link, Ardella Roemhild (Henry Woods); parents Russell and Louise Roemhild; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, and nephew Derrick Marson.

Ray will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank everyone who has reached out to them with condolences. They appreciate all the texts, phone calls, and messages.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI with Celebrant Teresa Pejsa officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Olson Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be at Teegarden Cemetery in Town of Lucas, Dunn County, WI.
