Renee I. Chevatal Obituary (1958 - 2023)

Renee Ione Chevatal, age 64 of Menomonie, Wisconsin passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023 at her home. She was born December 27, 1958 to Roman “Ray” and Sharon (Krause) Chevatal. Renee graduated from Menomonie High School in 1977. Renee worked at Country Kitchen followed by the Kernel where she worked for over 20 years. Later in life she finally found her dream job at Mecca Kennels. Renee loved working with animals and especially enjoyed playing with the dogs in the creek. Family and friends were very important to Renee. She enjoyed fishing with her dad, being barefoot, late night bonfires, and spending time with the Keith and Delores Williams family which became her second home. Renee lived her life to the fullest. Renee is survived by her twin brother Randy Chevatal (Sheila); nephew Travis (Kim) Chevatal; niece Candy Stavnaw and Shannon Radle; great nieces and nephews Braiden, Payton, Ciara, Lilah, Korbin, Sofia, and Jase. She is further survived by her aunt Sandy Butterfield; cousin Kelly Butterfield, Jen (Klause) and many good friends that became like family. She is preceded in death by her parents, uncle Sam, aunt Jeanne and her grandparents. A visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI. The family will be holding a private burial for Renee at a later date.
