Robert Bahr, age 48 of Menomonie, WI passed away Friday May 31st, 2019 \n at Luther Middlefort Hospital in Eau Claire, WI. \n \n Bob was born September 22, 1970 in South St. Paul, MN to Erich and Mary \n (Schneider) Bahr. He grew up in Minnesota and graduated from Simley \n high school in 1989. He attended technical college in Rosemount, MN \n where he earned his janitorial certificate. \n \n In 1998 Bob moved to Menomonie, WI to be closer to his family. He enjoyed \n playing pool and attending tournaments. He was an avid sports fan who \n always enjoyed catching the game, especially the New York Yankees and \n the New York Giants. Bob was devoted to country music and attended \n many concerts of his favorite bands. He looked forward to the local \n rodeos and could always be seen wearing his favorite cowboy hat! \n \n Bob spent many years working with the community support program in \n Dunn County where he attended events and made lots of friends. He was \n always willing to lend a helping hand to people and had a warm, generous \n heart. \n \n Bob enjoyed spending time with his children. He took great pride in \n watching his children in their plays, concerts, and school events. He \n especially enjoyed spending special moments with his kids around the \n holidays. He always made sure to get the kids on every pony ride he could. \n \n Robert is survived by: \n His parents: Erich and Mary Bahr \n A brother: Steven Bahr \n Five children: Erika, Erich, Rose, Lillian and Cheyenne Bahr \n Two uncles: Harry Bahr and James Schneider \n One aunt: Carol Schlip \n as well as many cousins, relatives, and friends. \n \n Robert is preceded in death by: \n His grandparents: Erich and Irene Bahr, as well as Leo and Hazel \n Schneider \n 3 aunts: Maria Larson, Helena Hill, and Barbara Johnson \n 2 uncles: Sonny Schneider, and Dwayne Larson \n One cousin: Donna Hill \n and his beloved pets \n \n A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the Olson Funeral Home, Menomonie with Pastor Sarah Miller officiating with burial at Mound Cemetery, Downing, WI. There will be a visitation from 11:00 am until time of service.
