Samuel Elliot Hayes, age 25 was unexpectedly taken from his family on Sunday, August 14th 2016. \n Sam was born on August 11th 1991 in Menomonie, Wisconsin to Cecil and Kelley Jo Hayes. He graduated from Boyceville High from the class of 2010. Samuel further pursued his education at the University of Wisconsin Stout, and the 512 Iron Working Trade School. \n Sam played hard, and worked harder. He was a proud member of the 512 Iron Working Union, where he enjoyed his craft. Sam could be described in many words, but none could do him justice. Whether Sam was singing with his loud booming voice, or telling silly jokes, he always filled the hearts and souls of those around him. \n Samuel is survived by: \n Parents Cecil and Kelley Jo Hayes \n Brother Daniel (McKenzee) Hayes \n Sister Abigale Hayes \n Girlfriend Emma Lorenz \n Grandparents Jon and Joanne Hagen \n Little Grandma Hayes \n Samuel also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, co-workers, friends and his 512 brothers. \n He was preceded in the death by his grandfather Harley Hayes and an uncle Wayne Michael Hayes. \n Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2016 at The Menomonie Alliance Church. There will be a visitation from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and also one hour prior to the services on Friday.
