Sheryl I. Stinson

–

Menomonie, Wisconsin

Sheryl “Sherri” Irene Stinson, age 62 of Knapp, Gods little angel went to be with the Lord Monday, June 15, 2020, passing peacefully at Spring of Life in Knapp.

Sherri was born March 20, 1958 in Duluth, MN to Denby Joe and Marguerite “Peg” (Jeanette) Stinson. She was a special needs child who exceeded all the challenges at birth and lived beyond what anyone could ever imagined. She worked at Endeavors in Balsam Lake, WI; then later moving to Menomonie where she worked at Indianhead Enterprises until her illness prevented her from working.

Sherri’s great personality and smile would light up the room. She met Johnny Cash in person years ago; he was her idol. She spent most of her time making necklaces, listening to music and spending time with her family, friends and her dog Rocky.

Sherri is survived by her mother Peg Stinson, three sisters Tammy (Brian) Rasmussen of Holcombe, WI, Robyn (Duke) Johnson of Fort Myers, FL, Kimberly (Wayne) Dau of Colfax, WI; niece Nicole (Juan) Dau Martinez and great-nephew Mateo of Menomonie, WI, nephew Brandon Dau (Josh Brown) of Beaverton, OR. She is also survived by many cousins, other relatives, friends and her family at Spring of Life in Knapp.

She was preceded in death by her father Denby Joe Stinson.

A special thanks to St. Croix Hospice and Spring of Life employees for caring for her during her illness and in her final days.

No formal services are being held at this time.
