Steven J. Plemon Sr., age 52, of Menomonie, WI died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011 as a result of a farming accident in the Town of Tiffany, Dunn Co., WI. \n \n Steve was born July 21, 1959 in Menomonie, WI to James and Eunice (Kegan) Plemon, and was raised in the Menomonie area where he attended school. He then served with the Wisconsin National Guard, Co. A., 1st Bn, 128th Inf. \n \n Steve was a lifelong Packer fan and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his grandchildren. \n \n Steve is survived by: \n His four sons, \n Steve Plemon Jr. of Menomonie \n Jon (Jennifer) Plemon of Elk Mound \n Bruce Plemon of Boyceville \n Chris Plemon of Menomonie \n Two grandsons, Keegan and Colton \n A granddaughter, Chloe \n His brother, Mark Plemon of Eau Claire \n Two nephews, Trevor and Thomas and a niece, Misty \n A special friend Donna Bignell \n Other relatives and many friends \n \n He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Eunice Plemon. \n \n Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and an hour prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will be in Cedar Falls Cemetery in the Town of Red Cedar, Dunn Co., WI.
