Terry Arvid Narhi, age 69 of Menomonie, WI passed away on Sunday, February 26th, 2023 at the loving home of the Pastor Michael VanZee family. \n \n Terry was born February 23, 1954 in Hancock, MI. He is the son of Arvid and Gladys (Campbell) Narhi. Terry graduated from Baraga High School in 1972, then went on to Michigan State University where he received his BS in Education & Master’s in Vocational Education. \n \n Terry taught in Arizona as a counselor and Voc. Ed. teacher at the Arizona Boys Ranch. He later moved to Hereford, Texas where he drove semi tractor-trailer for Shupe Brothers Grain Hauling Co. and Nick & Dees Trucking and Brokerage for eight years. Continuing his driving career, he joined Walmart, and drove semi for over 31 years. While driving for Walmart he attained the accomplishment of driving over 4,500,000 consecutive safe miles, a rare achievement only by a handful of drivers. \n \n He enjoyed hunting and fishing, nature, and nurturing his spiritual soul. \n \n Terry was very active as a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Menomonie, WI where his faith was an inspiration to all who knew him. \n \n Terry is survived by is his sister Rae Marie (Michael) Klobucher of Engadine, MI; niece JoAnn Smith of International Falls, MN, nephews Michael Klobucher of Lakeside Park, KY and A.J. (Connie) Clark of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, grand-niece and nephews; Caitlyn, Nathan, Hunter, and Lucas. \n \n He is preceded in death by his parents Arvid and Gladys, brother Mickey, and sister Sally Ann. \n \n A visitation will be Saturday, March 4th at the Immanuel Baptist Church of Menomonie, WI from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Michael VanZee officiating. Luncheon following. Burial will be at the Pelkie Cemetery in Pelkie, MI in the spring. \n \n In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his honor to the Immanuel Baptist Church Gymnasium Renovation Fund.
