Tia Hartz Obituary (1981

Tia F. Hartz, age 41 passed away at her home in New Orleans on June 18, 2022. She suffered from a neurological and kidney disease with addiction for many years. This ultimately resulted in her death. Tia had four beautiful daughters that were the light of her life and the topic of nearly every phone conversation. She loved and adored them very much and wanted and tried to get better for them. Tia loved talking about “her girls” and always wanted more time together. Tia was born January 7, 1981 as Travis R. Hartz and completed her long awaited transition on November 2, 2019 when she started her new chapter as Tia F. Hartz. She enjoyed her music playing songs on her guitar and enjoying artwork of her own and from others. She could always find space for a friend or a dog in need to stay and enjoyed cooking wonderful meals for her friends and family. Tia is survived by her four daughters Delilah (Mother Jennifer) Chloe, Amelia, and Mikayela (Mother Jenna) her mother Beth, five siblings Aaron, Adam, Holly, Levi and Rachel and many more family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her Grandmother Darlene whom she was very close with and Grandfather Dave, Father Brian Hartz, Grandparents Marvelyn and Ivan and Uncle Wayne and other friends. Her body is being cremated and will be in Menomonie, Wisconsin for a future memorial service with immediate family. Tia always strived to live a carefree and adventurous life and we know her spirit will carry on near the quiet peace of riverbanks and with her family and friends.
