TRAVIS D. WEIER

Travis Daniel Weier, age 18, of Menomonie, WI went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, June 25, 2009 in the Town of Dunn, Dunn Co., WI.

He was born July 9, 1990 in Menomonie, WI to Dennis and Donna (Hulback) Weier. He was baptized and confirmed at Peace Lutheran Church in Menomonie where he was a lifelong member.

Travis accomplished many things in his life. He was an honor roll student all through high school and recently graduated from Menomonie High School on June 7th. He was a certified lifeguard and certified in CPR and First Aid. Travis was employee of the year through the FCCLA program at school and employee of the month at Taco John's in Menomonie where he was night supervisor. He finished 2nd in the Taco Making Competition. Travis also worked at Jeff's Pizza in Menomonie.

Travis enjoyed life and loved playing disc golf, swimming, 4-wheeling and deer hunting. He also loved music and spending time with his friends.

Travis would always tell his mom she had the best gift of all, she had his love all year round. He was known for having a big heart and living life to the fullest.

Travis will be truly missed by all who knew him.

His father, Dennis Weier of Menomonie
A brother, Mike Weier (Breanne Meyers) of Menomonie
His paternal grandparents, Michael and Joan Weier of Elk River, MN
Also many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends
And his cat Zelda

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and LuAnn Hulback.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, June 29, 2009 at Peace Lutheran Church in Menomonie with Pastor David Whelan officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Menomonie, Dunn Co., WI. Family and friends are welcome from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday.
