Willard L. Tronrud

Willard L. Tronrud age 88, of Boyceville, WI passed away Friday, June 14, 2024 at Glenhaven in Glenwood City, WI.

He was born April 24, 1936 in Prairie Farm, WI to Clarence and Gladys (Smith) Tronrud. Willard lived in Connorsville when he was growing up. He worked at Hedlund MFG in Boyceville when he met his future wife Adeline Stansbury.

On May 24, 1958, Willard married Adeline. Together they had two daughters Peggy and Janelle. They were members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville and lived in Boyceville until 2018.

Willard worked at the University of Wisconsin Stout until his retirement. He also spent a few years taking care of Tiffany Cemetery in Boyceville. In their free time, both Adeline and Willard did some traveling which they enjoyed.

Willard is survived by his two daughters Peggy (Greg) Olson and Janelle (Lonny) Caswell; grandchildren Diane (Dave), Steve (Angie), Michael (Wendy), Miranda (Nate); great grandchildren Lexus, Ambria, Mackenzie, Blake, Ravyn, Brantley, Hailey, Mason, Elliana, and Cora. He is further survived by his sister Marie Rositzki; brother Robert Tronrud; and two sisters-in-law Helen Stansbury and Gerane Stansbury

He is preceded in death by his wife Adeline; parents Clarence and Gladys; four brothers; four sisters; and many other relatives and friends.

Special Thank you to Staff at Glenhaven, the nurses at Adoray Hospice, and Pastor Brad Peterson and Pastor Jonathan Zielske from Holy Cross in Glenwood City for there visits.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville, WI with Rev. Dr. Judy Kincaid officiating. There will be a visitation held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Tiffany Cemetery in Boyceville, WI. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is serving the family.
