William "Bill" E. Pease, age 74 of Menomonie, WI passed away on Monday, June 9 2014 at the Neighbors of Dunn County surrounded by his family. \n \n William Eugene Pease was born on May 23, 1940 in Menomonie to William and Hazel (Holmberg) Pease. \n \n He graduated from Menomonie High School in 1958. After high school he worked in the construction industry, at Badger Iron Works (Fosters) Foundry, then joined the local laborers union #268 where he proudly worked for 49 years. Bill married Barbara Wald on February 24, 1962 at St Joseph's Catholic Church in Menomonie. Bill was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Menomonie for over 50 years. He was an usher and assisted preparing the deposits for the month of March for 47 years. He was an avid woodworker and enjoyed making children's toys, bird houses, and furniture. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing and frequenting the Menomonie Family Restaurant. \n \n Bill is survived by his wife Barbara Pease of Menomonie, son Timothy Pease of Menomonie, daughter Suzanne (Tom) Mayer of Augusta, two granddaughters Grace and Emily Mayer and a sister Delilah Wolf of Elmwood. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. \n \n He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Richard Pease, Edwin and Otto Lemon. \n \n Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Menomonie with Father Tom Krieg officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, Menomonie, WI. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2014 with Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
