WILLIAM "BILL" R. WOODS

William Russell Woods, age 65, of Colfax, died Sat., April 24, 2004 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN after a long illness.

He was born Nov. 29, 1938 to Russell and Minnie (Gardener) Woods on the homestead in Boyceville, WI.

Bill married Hazel Shipman on Oct. 24, 1959 on the family farm in rural Boyceville. They had five children, Jean Ann, Cindy Ann, Sandra Kay, Penny Marie and William Hank. Bill enjoyed his grandchildren and also liked to fish and hunt.

6 sisters, Beatrice Breeze, Delsina (Otto) Flug, Goldine (Harold) Andrews, Nandee Link, Rosezena (Earl) Nyhart and Kay Edgerman
3 brothers, Roushues Woods, Earnest (Dee) Woods and LeRoy (Barb) Woods
Many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Jean Ann; 2 brothers and 11 sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at Grace United Methodist Church in Wheeler with Pastor Gail Mitchell officiating. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie.
